ASHTREE FARM

WDA were appointed to develop a site-wide phased redevelopment of this existing Grade II listed farmhouse and its associated outbuildings. Works include the contemporary conversion of four derelict barns into residential amenity spaces, along with re-modelling to the garden to create an exterior pool and new stone walled footpath. The design includes use of contemporary, self-weathering materials such as zinc, stone and large frameless sections of glazing to accent the traditional Mendip stone walling and oak joinery.  The project is ongoing nearing completion on site. The first phase of the works was shortlisted for the LABC Regional Awards 2018. On-going works include a swimming pool and associated changing area.
