Planning & Listed Building Consent applications have been submitted for a new Coach House on Hope Chapel Hill, Hotwells. The site located within the Clifton & Hotwells Conservation Area was originally part of the curtilage of the remaining formal four storey Georgian Town house fronting Hotwell Road. The site has remained disused other than occasional hard standing car parking since its clearance in the 50’s. The proposal presents an opportunity to reinforce the urban streetscape of Clifton & Hotwell’s lower slopes with a considered design that seeks to bridge a varied and challenging vernacular palette.
