Leeming House / Oxford Mews submitted for planning

June 2, 2023

Re-development of a disused courtyard space to the rear of Leeming House a Grade 11 listed Georgian Town House fronting Princess Victoria Street within the Clifton & Hotwells Conservation Area. The courtyard originally functioned as a service space comprising coach house & outbuildings ancillary to 109 & 111 Princess Victoria Street.

The courtyard is now used for storage of building materials that are contained within poor quality dilapidated garaging constructed during the late 20thCentury.

As part of the conservation & refurbishment of Leeming House, design proposals seek to redevelop the courtyard with the introduction of a new 2-storey self-contained contemporary mews coach house. The new design will conserve & reinstate the historic courtyard space as an heritage asset & enhance the setting of Oxford Place.
