WDA have successfully recieved Listed Building Consent for restoration and refurbishment works at 2 Bruton Place, Clifton.
The building forms part of a fine Grade 2 Listed convex shaped terrace of mid 19th Century Georgian houses arranged over three floors & fronting onto Park Place - a green leafy backwater in Clifton. No2 Bruton Place has remained remarkably intact through successive generations and retains a number of period features, albeit with a typical tell-tale 70’s influence of bed-sit living. Fortunately the property remains a fine if rather dilapidated example of mid-century Georgian city living.
Phase 1 of the project work includes the stabilising of the existing cellar including with non-intrusive specialised tanking systems & insulation to improve the thermal performance of the existing building fabric, combined with the sensitive restoration of existing features.
