THE CANTEEN

Nisbets, the largest catering equipment supplier in Europe, wanted to improve their staff amenities near their offices and distribution centres in Avonmouth. WDA were appointed to carry out a feasibility study to find unused space within their existing sites to build upon. The proposed Canteen site was identified for development following a careful re-planning of the existing staff onsite parking facilities and now provides the company with a highly successful staff café and amenity space, which also now serves the public. The restaurant provides covers in excess of 200 diners with both inside and external seating, which is set beneath a projecting scalloped roof canopy.
