THE CHAMELEON TREE RESTAURANT

WDA collaborated with Space Catering to transform the former Tropical Storm Café into the Chameleon Tree Restaurant, a flagship customer restaurant at the heart of the renowned Longleat Safari Park. WDA undertook extensive design and precedent research of Longleat Estate in order to develop a contemporary design which celebrated the existing fabric of the building, while integrating a playful narrative that echoed themes within the original Elizabethan mansion. The design works were undertaken over a condensed period to meet an extremely tight programme to have all building works completed in 11 weeks.  WDA continue to support Longleat and are in discussions to consider further strategic new build works across the Estate.
